Here we go again.

Our family friend just gave me and my brother a sermon about going to church.

I am busy every day of the week. I used to work weekends but because of my heavy load at school, I specifically made Sunday homework day. My brother works, too.

He said: “There’s nothing more important than The Lord. If you don’t go to church, he’ll get mad and unfortunate thing will happen to you.”

After what he just said, I put a big grin on my face and shook my head. I don’t think anybody noticed my reaction because we were eating. My brain hurt a little there. I really wanted to say something, but I still am a polite respectful little girl. I didn’t want dinner to turn into a debate. I just can’t believe that I live with this kind of people that are so closed-minded because of religion.

Plus, I believe that as long as I’m doing what I need to do and as long as I think it’s morally right then that should be what it means to live. If something unfortunate happens, I am not going to blame anyone, not even god (if he does exist). Unfortunate things happen randomly and because of number of possibilities, not some guy pointing his finger at you and saying “You made me mad. Thus, I’ll make you suffer!”. Going to church because your afraid to get punished makes no sense at all. You’re just living in fear, which i think is the real hell.

Is stupidity contagious? No. No, it’s not. But it’s causing me to lose all my brain cells, too.

Or maybe they are just trying to troll back at me? Naww.. Knowing those people, they are not that clever. Especially my “friend” who thinks everything is stupid without even trying to understand it.

Then I posted something (not explaining the whole purpose of it) just so they get an idea. USELESS.

*sigh* These are one of the reasons why I sometimes lose hope for humanity. People don’t know how to think things through then they immediately get mad. They don’t know how to loosen up these days. Everybody’s so serious. Have a little laugh, people!
